Access counselling, wellbeing services, legal & financial assistanceJoin Australia's largest private health care provider.The OpportunityWe are seeking a Clinic Nurse Specialist to support our Endoscopy Team as part of Operating Theatres Unit. The Clinical Nurse Specialist is an advanced level Registered Nurse who acts as a clinical and professional resource person demonstrating broad knowledge and clinical expertise in all facets of caring for the patient. This includes demonstrating a high level of critical thinking and problem-solving skills within the clinical setting. As a Clinical Nurse you will contribute to, and participates in, the education of all clinical staff by being involved in department orientation, in- servicing and clinical competence programs. You will also make a valuable contribution to the Hospital continuous improvement processes.As Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for supervising the delivery of quality patient care, developing standards of practice, implementing changes to clinical practice and you will be responsible for delivering quality improvement initiatives within our medical ward. You will have the opportunity to work in an active leadership role, including the development and provision of evidence-based clinical nursing, whilst working and collaborating within our multidisciplinary team.Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care.Skills And ExperienceYou will have exceptional customer service, strong communication and interpersonal skills and also meet the following criteria:Relevant registration with the AHPRA as a Registered NurseMinimum 3 years in theatres or endoscopy specialty as a Registered NurseAbility to work rotating rosterPost-graduate qualification, undertaking same or working towardsExcellent time management skills. Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as requiredExcellent communication skills, problem solving skills and interpersonal skills to ensure excellence customer service is delivered.RemunerationOn offer is base hourly rate of $53.56 + superannuation, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
