ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Production Supervisor to join our dynamic team based out of our BarandudaVIC 3691 facility.
As the Production Supervisor, you will play a key role in overseeing day-to-day workshop operations, ensuring efficient workflow, high-quality workmanship and a safe working environment. You will lead a skilled team of tradespeople and collaborate with management to meet project deadlines and customer expectations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise and coordinate workshop staff, schedules and production activities
Monitor progress to ensure timelines, quality standards and safety protocols are met
Support workforce planning, training and performance development
Maintain accurate documentation including job records and safety reports
Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiency
ABOUT YOU
Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a mechanical, manufacturing, fabrication or heavy industry environment
Relevant trade qualification and OR experience
Strong understanding of workshop operations and production planning
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to lead, motivate and mentor a team
A strong focus on safety, quality and continuous improvement
Thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong multitasking abilities and adapts easily to changing priorities
