About the Role
We are seeking a qualified, experienced and values‐driven Disability Community Support Worker to provide day to day support to individuals predominately with psycho-social and intellectual disabilities. The Community Support Worker will assist with daily life skills, community involvement & maintaining the participants emotional wellbeing.
Remuneration level dependent on qualifications and experience (SCHADS AWARD).
Essential Requirements
* Certificate III in Disability or a higher level of equivalent qualification
* Experience in supporting participants with challenging behaviours or complex needs whilst maintaining their independence and dignity
* Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Current Working with Children Check
* Current First Aid & CPR Certification
* Valid Full Australian Driver's Licence
* Right to work in Australia
* Demonstrated ability to strictly follow workplace policies and procedures and understand the importance of maintaining an incident free workplace
* Possess good character traits such as honesty, integrity, accountability & respect
