Procurement Specialist
This role involves delivering complex procurement activity and ensuring a value for money outcome for the Commonwealth.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and deliver end-to-end procurement documentation for one or more complex procurement activities.
* Manage and administer procurement activities, including overseeing tender processes, evaluation, and briefings to delegates.
* Negotiate, where required, suitable contracts on behalf of the Department.
Requirements
* Demonstrated knowledge of the Public Governance Performance and Accountability (PGPA) Act 2013 and Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs).
* Good written and oral communication skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to proactively engage with stakeholders to provide accurate and timely advice.
* Capacity to work effectively both as a member of a team as well as independently.
