About the role
Manage end-to-end payroll for a mix of casual, part-time, and waged employees in the QLD payroll portfolio for approximately 1,000 staff.
Process weekly and fortnightly pay runs, onboardings, offboardings, and payroll queries.
Maintain payroll records and respond to internal and external requests.
Handle leave management, payroll deductions, and superannuation processing.
Support reporting requirements such as weekly, monthly, and compliance reporting.
Collaborate closely with payroll team members in other states and the Payroll Manager.
About you
2-3 years minimum experience in an end-to-end payroll position.
Resilient and adaptable – comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Strong communicator with a proven track record in effective stakeholder management.
Detail-focused and a natural at identifying errors or improving processes.
Proactive and accountable – likes to take ownership and see tasks through.
Team-orientated nature and positive personality that fits right into this payroll team.
