The role includes providing sales and administrative support for our Devonport branch and exceptional customer service to our agricultural clients. A typical day may look like: Reporting to the Merchandise Manager, this role is responsible for providing sales support to our merchandise teams including: Performing general administrative tasks including stock control, ordering, receipting, and dispatching of goods Assisting customers with pricing and product queries Processing counter sales Undertaking all tasks and activities in a safe manner in accordance with Company policies and processes Maintaining a welcoming, friendly, and well-presented store environment Loading and unloading trucks, dispatching, and unpacking orders and deliveries About you: To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in a busy team environment. You will have a passion for agriculture, and a strong sales background. Ideally you will demonstrate: Experience working within a sales environment Effective verbal communications skills A proactive approach to work and practical organisation skills Excellent attention to detail Problem solving skills and empathy to resolve customer issues promptly Ability to identify ways to improve internal sales processes Sound computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook A current driver’s license is essential and a forklift license would be highly advantageous We’re invested in you We have a strong culture of empowerment where your career is in your own hands - you have the accountability and autonomy to go as far as you’re willing.
