**The role**
Sandvik currently has an exciting opportunity for an Indirect Procurement Manager to lead our very busy team in Perth. This is a hands on roll with a focus on providing expertise in strategic and tactical purchasing for Sandvik entities, as well as coordinate the end to end purchasing process and be accountable for the procurement of indirect products and services required.
This role is a full-time requirement, however Sandvik recognises the desire for flexible working options.
**Areas of responsibility**
- Provide high levels of service, maintain, and enhance healthy business relationships internally and externally and act as the procurement representative to ensure compliance for all procurement policies and procedures.
- Drive onboarding or new suppliers as well as the implementation of new supplier contracts.
- Develop and implement contracts related to own managed sourcing projects and activities.
- Monitor and maintain Sandvik's Procurement policy and approval process.
- Proactively identify opportunities to lower the total cost of ownership of materials, equipment and services.
- Manage category Pre-Studies in the region; from the documentation of the business and its requirements to the selection process for the design works till the completion of the Investment Approval documents.
**Your profile**
You will hold a relevant tertiary qualification and at least 5 years' experience in a similar position and related industry. You will have solid experience controlling budgets and transactions, data analysis and reporting. Comprehensive knowledge of procurement processes and a high-level of customer service is desirable.
