The North West Cancer Centre, Burnie, provides comprehensive specialist outpatient Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology and Clinical Haematology Services to the North West Tasmanian Community.
The Role
The Clinical Nurse Consultant - Cancer Care (CNC) North West provides clinical leadership and direction to improve the quality and continuity of care and support provided to clients diagnosed with cancer across the continuum of care.
Qualifications
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Highly developed problem‐solving, conceptual, and analytical capabilities, with the capacity to evaluate complex situations effectively.
* Experienced registered nurse with advanced cancer care skills, ensuring coordinated care and optimal patient pathways.
* Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse or Midwife.
* Relevant postgraduate qualifications in cancer care coordination/nursing (desirable).
* Current Driver's Licence (desirable).
Details of Appointment
Permanent, part‐time day‐worker position, working 40 hours per fortnight, to commence as soon as possible. Hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Salary
$118,297 to $125,543 per annum, pro rata. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
