About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a storeperson to join our team.
Operating out of our Newcastle site, you will report to the Branch Supervisor and will be responsible for the main warehousing activities whilst delivering outstanding service to both internal and external stakeholders daily.
Your main duties, whilst not limited to, will include the following:
* Receiving and processing incoming and outgoing stock and materials
* Picking and filling orders from stock
* Packing and shipping orders
* Organising and retrieving stock in the warehouse
* Delivering products to customers
* Providing great service to our customers at all times
* Maintaining a clean and safe workplace
* Working harmoniously with the team to achieve maximum efficiency
* Adhering to the company's policies and procedures
* Adhering to Health and Safety policies and procedures in place
* In addition, you may be required to do Sales Representative Relief on an ad-hoc basis. Duties include Customer Contact and Support, Deliveries and Invoicing, Processing Warranties and Truck Stock Management.
About You
To be considered for this opportunity, you must possess the following competencies:
* Forklift Licence (Mandatory)
* Previous warehouse experience is preferred
* Excellent phone/personal customer service skills
* Current MR or above Drivers Licence (Mandatory)
* Excellent inventory and housekeeping skills
* A good level of fitness is required as you will be regularly handling batteries weighing up to 25 kg
* Strict awareness to Health and Safety procedures
* Self-motivated and reliable
* Computer/iPad Literate
* Good Communications Skills
