Job Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Contract Administrator to join our commercial construction division.
This role will provide high-quality contract administration services during pre and post contract stages.
The successful candidate will have experience in similar roles and strong knowledge of commercial and contract management principles, processes, and procedures.
Duties Performed
* Assistance to the Senior Design and Project Manager in project coordination and program scheduling
* Working autonomously to write detailed Scope of Works and Construction Documentation
* Subcontractor and supplier procurement, including tendering and negotiating contracts
* Preparing and reviewing subcontractor agreements, variations, payment claims, invoices and payment schedules
* Prepare and maintain Procurement Schedules, Tender Analysis Reports, Budget Transfers, monthly progress claims and financial reports
* Monitor project budgets and financial reporting, assisting in cost control and forecasting
* Work closely with project teams to track project performance and manage risks
* Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
* Administer contracts and ensure adherence to legal and contractual obligations
* Providing general Estimates as needed
Requirements
* 5+ years experience in a similar role
* Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management an advantage
* Strong knowledge of commercial and contract management principles, processes and procedures
* Proficiency with Databuild (CUBIT highly regarded)
