We are expanding our team and seeking a motivated Maintenance Technician to join us on a long‑term project at a major industrial gas processing facility in the Sale region. This role offers excellent stability, a strong team environment, and the opportunity to work on well‑maintained, modern plant equipment.
The Opportunity
As a Maintenance Technician, you will support the safe and reliable operation of a continuous‑process industrial facility. You will be involved in routine maintenance, fault finding, plant inspections, minor repairs, and assisting with both electrical and mechanical tasks across compressors, pumps, motors, valves, and control systems. This position suits someone with hands‑on industrial maintenance experience who is comfortable working across multiple disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and service plant equipment including pumps, motors, compressors, and mechanical systems.
* Assist with mechanical, electrical and instrumentation tasks within your competency.
* Conduct routine inspections and support corrective actions.
* Assist with troubleshooting and breakdown response for mechanical and electrical issues.
* Support preventative maintenance schedules and shutdown activities.
* Follow site safety standards, isolation/LOTO procedures, and documentation requirements.
Skills & Experience
Required:
* Mechanical and/or electrical maintenance experience in an industrial environment
* Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities
* Ability to work safely in a process‑plant setting
* Effective communication and documentation skills
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Highly Advantageous:
* Instrumentation exposure (calibration, sensors, flow/pressure/level equipment)
* Hazardous area knowledge or experience
* Experience with compressors, pumps, or rotating equipment
* Background in process plants, utilities, manufacturing, or energy sectors
* Mechanical fitter experience or similar hands‑on trade background
