Overview
The Commissioning Manager will be part of the O&M team, reporting to the O&M Manager, and will lead a multidisciplinary commissioning team to deliver successful testing and commissioning of renewable energy projects within the New Energy business.
Responsibilities
* Develop and execute commissioning plans and procedures for the projects.
* Lead and manage day-to-day commissioning activities, ensuring seamless execution.
* Plan, resource, and coordinate commissioning efforts effectively.
* Collaborate closely with site teams for smooth handover and testing.
* Drive progress through daily war‐room meetings and risk‐management strategies.
* Align with project control teams to meet key milestones on time.
* Foster a one‐team approach, working with clients, OEMs, and stakeholders for successful project completion.
Qualifications & Experience
* A tertiary engineering qualification or recognised industry equivalent is required.
* Extensive experience in testing and commissioning in the renewable or utilities sector.
* Strong leadership skills with experience managing technical staff.
* Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
* Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
