Based in Brisbane, this position offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement, allowing you to work remotely for three days a week while regularly traveling to meet with landholders.
**Key contributions**:
- Spearhead land access issue management, providing expertise in negotiating agreements for accessing and maintaining renewable energy resources and land
- Develop and implement strategic land access plans, encompassing communication, engagement planning, stakeholder engagement risk management, and mitigation measures
- Integrate land access requirements into project planning across Generation and Development lifecycles, as well as in asset acquisition, merger, or divestment
- Manage relationships and agreements with existing lease-holding landholders, addressing any associated land management challenges and ensuring effective budget management in contractor-delivered scopes of work
**What you bring to the table**:
- Possess a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the energy, resources/mining, or heavy industry sectors
- Demonstrated expertise in managing complex land access negotiation issues and negotiating diverse land access agreements
- Proven track record in developing strategies to gain and maintain access to renewable energy resources and land
- Dynamic and strategic thinking with adaptability and flexibility
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal and collaborative capabilities, along with in-depth knowledge of land access, planning, and social license legislation relevant to energy or resource development projects in Australia
