**Job Opportunity:**
We are seeking a highly skilled EL2 Program Manager to lead a team responsible for implementing improvements to payments and claims quality, efficiency, controls, correctness, and outcomes.
This is a 12-month assignment that requires strong leadership and management skills, sound knowledge of project management approaches, solution-focused organization, and task management skills.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in project management within a government context and relevant project management qualifications.
The role involves managing and developing the Project Management Office (PMO), ensuring project deliverables and milestones are met, and reporting on project output and outcomes to key stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will be able to develop and implement project plans, governance arrangements, and operational integration, analyze project performance, and identify, assess, manage, and escalate project risks, issues, and benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement project plans, governance arrangements, and operational integration
* Manage and further develop the PMO to bring high-quality project delivery framework to the program
* Analyze project performance and identify areas for improvement
* Develop and deliver optimization initiatives to support service improvements in line with strategic objectives
* Ensure project deliverables and milestones are met while reporting on project output and outcomes to key stakeholders
