The role of Workshop Supervisor is an excellent opportunity for suitably qualified and experienced candidates to join our Port Hedland based team.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Workshop Manager, your primary responsibility will be to lead and supervise the performance of a skilled team within our Fabrication, Mechanical and tiling workshops. This is not a FIFO role; candidates must reside in Port Hedland or be willing to relocate with relocation assistance approved for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
* Complete projects that meet client quality requirements and are produced on time and budget.
* Develop and maintain a skilled team to achieve high-quality outputs.
* Provide accurate quotations.
* Maintain Safety, Environmental and Quality compliance.
* Produce Manufacturer's Data Reports (MDR's) and other supporting materials as required.
* Demonstrate strong leadership skills.
* Continuously seek out ideas for improvement.
Requirements
* A relevant trade qualification – Cert III in Engineering – Mechanical Fitter/BMW/Fabrication Trade.
* Experience in supervising workshop operations.
* Well-developed communication and leadership skills.
* The ability to quickly adapt to changes in job priorities.
* Hold or willing to obtain a National Police Clearance.
* Ability to ensure quality work is completed safely, on time and within budget.
* Reliability in planning, reporting, communicating and ensuring compliance with internal and legislative commitments and obligations.
* Ability to lead in Health and Safety.
