AUSTRALIAN CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION: YesRELOCATION ASSISTANCE: Relocation assistance may be availableCLEARANCE TYPE: AU- Secret (NV1)TRAVEL: Yes, 25% of the TimeDescriptionYour Role:The Senior Avionics Engineer will be working with the Capability Development team in the development and certification of capability enhancements to the C-27J aircraft.Accountable for:The development, review & approval of various aircraft Avionics /Electrical and/or Electronic System technical repair and design documents.Providing engineering input to maintaining the C-27J configuration, technical and operational publications.Ensuring that the Engineering Task management database and other tools are accurately updated with relevant information.Analysing data and preparing reports for meetings.Managing engineering workflows and tasks in coordination with customer organisation priorities to maintain airworthiness, mission capability and aircraft availability.About You:The ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA security clearance at NV1.Bachelor's degree in aerospace Avionics and/or Electrical/Electronic Engineering.Chartered Membership of Engineers Australia (CPEng), RPEQ.Minimum 3+ years' experience as an Avionics and/or Electrical/Electronic Engineer in Defence Aviation.What we Offer:18 weeks paid parental leave.Flexible Working Options including Hybrid Working, 9-day Fortnights, Volunteer leave, varying start and finish times to suit family needs.2
