Financial Controller (Full Time or Part Time)

What You'll Be Doing
* Translate financial and operational data into clear, actionable commercial insights
* Deliver monthly reporting with meaningful analysis and recommendations
* Identify and implement automation opportunities across reporting, AP/AR, and forecasting through leveraging modern tools and AI (no coding required)
* Own the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements
* Lead budgeting and forecasting, including the annual planning cycle
* Build and maintain robust financial controls and governance frameworks
* Manage cash flow and forward‐looking forecasting models
* Drive the adoption and integration of finance technology, including AI tools
* Support the Senior Leadership Team in financial strategy and business planning
* Contribute to strategic initiatives including Mergers & Acquisitions, capital raising, expansion
* Deliver scenario modelling and data tools to drive efficient decision making
* Lead and develop the Accounts Officer, while fostering cross‐functional collaboration
What You'll Bring to the Table
* CPA or CA qualification
* Proven experience in a Financial Controller or similar leadership role
* Strong technical grounding in financial reporting, controls, and budgeting
* A commercial mindset—you go beyond the numbers
* Experience with ERP systems and modern finance tools (AI exposure and/or MYOB Acumatica experience highly regarded)
* Strong leadership skills with the confidence to challenge assumptions constructively
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Strategic thinking with the ability to translate insight into action
* Experience in FMCG or multi‐SKU environments (highly desirable)
