Technical Sales role with a privately owned and successful business selling Industrial & Technical equipment
**Your new company**
Is a Sales and Distribution business with a range of Industrial & B2B products that range from Electrical Equipment, Power Tools, Soldering Equipment and PPE.
Privately owned and organically grown, the organisation is looking to bring some structure to the sales function of the organisation, and alleviate the requirement for the General Manager and Managing Director being as customer facing and revenue generating.
**Your new role**
Sometimes that involves joint meetings with the suppliers at the end user, other times it involves meeting end users identified from an underutilised CRM system, with loads of great purchasing data from previous sales - developing a cycle methodology to maximise and grow existing clients, as well as seek out new ones.
Customers are often technical trades or engineering professionals, so require a solution-sales approach with a good degree of technical acumen to be able to sell the company's product range - in particular when it comes to customers interested in the Electrotonic repair, testing, measurement, inspection equipment space.
**What you'll need to succeed**
The role requires someone with previous technical B2B Sales experience, selling into a broad range of industry verticals.
A proven track record working for either a manufacturer that sells directly to end users, or pulls sales through distribution / wholesale partners, or who has worked with a Distribution business selling to end users. Reason being the role needs to quote, close and seal the deals directly.
**What you'll get in return**
The chance to work closely with a newly appointed Sales Manage and the General Manager in what is a really flat structure - you will be exposed to a lot of the mechanisms of what has made the business so successful and be primed to take on a future management position in the company.
Paying circa $115k Base + Super + Fully Maintained Company Vehicle (allowance can be discussed if required) + Bonus.
