About the Role:
To assist the organisation to meet its strategic and operational objectives in Essential Services by providing a clean, tidy and welcoming facility through cleaning the interior and exterior areas of Beechworth Health Service.
About You:
Essential
* Demonstrated experience in ability to plan, organise and prioritise work, in an environment with multiple and conflicting demands.
* Knowledge of legislation relevant to the position (e.g. Essential Services, Occupational Health and Safety, Hazardous Substances etc.)
* Strong interpersonal communication and negotiation skills, including the ability to interact effectively with older people and people of diverse cultures.
* Initiative and the ability to work without direct supervision.
* Able to meet the physical requirements of the role.
* Basic computer skills (Office Word & Excel).
* Current drivers’ licence (Essential).
Desirable
* Previous cleaning/handyperson experience.
* Experience working in a health, retirement living, aged care or Not-For-Profit environment.
