Management Accountant - 6-Month Fixed-Term Contract | $155,000 + Super
* Deliver accurate and timely monthly management reporting, including detailed variance analysis and commentary
* Partner with operational stakeholders to provide commercial insights and decision support
* Identify process gaps and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
* Strengthen financial controls, including balance sheet reconciliations and reporting integrity
* Lead clean‐up activities across data, processes, and reporting structures
* Analyse large datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
* Support budgeting and forecasting processes where required
* Contribute to both BAU and project‐based initiatives within the finance team
We are currently recruiting for a technically strong and commercially astute Management Accountant to join a well‐established organisation on a 6‐month fixed‐term contract. This role has been created to support the finance team during a period of transition and will play a key role in stabilising processes, strengthening controls, and delivering high‐quality financial insights. Working within a collaborative team environment, this is a hands‐on opportunity suited to someone who can quickly add value, identify gaps, and drive process improvements in a fast‐paced setting.
Key Responsibilities

About You
* Proven experience as a Management Accountant within a medium to large organisation
* Strong technical accounting capability with the ability to operate autonomously
* Experience working with large ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, NetSuite or similar)
* Advanced Excel skills, with experience working across large datasets
* Experience with Power Query and/or Macros / VBA is highly desirable
* Demonstrated experience in process improvement, controls, and data clean‐up environments
* Strong understanding of balance sheet reconciliations and governance
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
