**The Opportunity**The Test Systems Technician will support the electrical test systems used as part of the Cochlear Brisbane Manufacturing Facility. These electrical test systems incorporate custom and off-the-shelf electronic components combined with custom software and firmware. As a critical quality gate during the production process, these systems are of high importance and it is critical to ensure system integrity and measurement accuracy. This role works with the electrical test system quality gate step within the assembly process for the Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCAs) and Implantable Electronic Assemblies (IEAs) manufactured by Cochlear Brisbane.The Test Systems Technician It is responsible for Responsible for the procurement, assembly, installation, qualification, and commissioning of test systems. The role supports Test Engineers in conducting well defined test verification activities and test system upgrade initiatives. It also supports Maintenance & Calibration and Manufacturing Support teams in order to resolve technical issues and maintain test system uptime. Success within this role is marked by delivery of test system instances and updates to support continued manufacturing as per the current forecast production volume **Responsibilities include:*** Deliver test system hardware (platform, fixtures, jigs) using establish design processes and guidelines* Independently source electronic, electrical, and mechanical components and parts and be familiar with Cochlear procurement process* Independently assemble or fabricate the test hardware based on available design schematics and block diagrams (An understanding of schematics is a MUST)* Develop modifications to the hardware when necessary to support test development* Perform Installation Qualification (IQ) for manufacturing based on an establish IQ protocol* Manage Test Systems tools record configuration and ensure new tools are introduced into the Oracle Enterprise Asset Management System (eAM)* Support the execution of required test system hardware characterisation and verification based on available test protocols and plans**About You**As we grow our operations, we are looking for people who share our passion for delivering quality hearing solutions to our customers.
