Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to clients with disabilities, enabling them to achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.
Your role will involve:
* Providing intensive, flexible, and responsive client-focused support to assist clients in achieving their physical and mental health goals.
* Planning and coordinating clients' activities and social outings to promote community engagement and connection.
* Assisting clients with daily living tasks, domestic assistance, social support, transport, and community outings.
* Developing and maintaining connections with the community to achieve clients' goals.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Fluency in English.
* A current full Australian driver's license and own car.
* Comprehensive Car Insurance.
* NDIS Workers Screening Check (Service NSW).
* Valid First Aid & CPR Certificate.
* Working with Children Check (WWCC).
* Experience in Manual Handling, challenging behaviours, and other high-care skills.
* Previous experience in Disability Support or Assistant in Nursing (AIN).
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
