Economic Modelling and Research Analyst
Your role will be to support our investment strategy through economic modelling, research and insights. You'll contribute to our economic outlook, develop models, and translate macroeconomic trends into actionable ideas that enhance member outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitoring economic data and developing models that inform our economic outlook and investment strategy.
* Conducting thematic research on macroeconomic trends, asset allocation and financial markets.
* Translating economic insights into actionable ideas that support member outcomes.
* Clearly communicating research and modelling outputs to a wide range of stakeholders.
You will have strong economic frameworks, be curious about the world around you, and be excited to help us better understand local and global economies to help support member returns.
A background in economics, econometrics, finance or mathematics, with 2-5 years' experience in economic research and forecasting is required.
Familiarity with R and proficiency in Python, SQL, and MATLAB are highly desirable.
An analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a focus on outcomes are essential.
