Ryde Hyundai, a proud member of the Motus family, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Sales Consultant/2IC to join our dynamic team. This full-time position is based in Ryde, NSW, and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the sales and revenue growth of a leading Hyundai retailer.
About the Role
As a Senior Sales Consultant, you will be pivotal in driving sales performance while delivering exceptional customer service. In this 2IC position, your responsibilities will include:
Mentoring and Leadership: Guiding and supporting a team of highly skilled sales consultants, ensuring they have the knowledge, tools, and confidence to succeed.
Sales Strategies: Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to attract new customers and encourage repeat business, while analysing data and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
Customer Relationships: Building strong relationships by understanding customer needs and providing personalised solutions that showcase the value of the Hyundai range.
Closing Sales: Negotiating and closing deals on new and pre-owned Hyundai vehicles, always delivering an outstanding customer experience.
Achieving Results: Consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets while upholding Hyundai's reputation for service excellence.
Brand Representation: Promoting the Hyundai brand with professionalism, highlighting its cutting-edge features, advanced technology, and commitment to sustainability.
Collaboration: Working with marketing and product teams on campaigns and promotions, contributing to the overall success of the sales department.
Innovation in Sales: Using digital platforms and sales technology to streamline processes and enhance the customer journey.
Stock Management: Assisting in managing inventory to ensure a wide and appealing vehicle selection.
Supportive Environment: Thriving in a collaborative workplace that encourages career growth and professional development.
Requirements
Proven experience: Minimum 5 years in automotive sales or a related industry.
Strong leadership: Ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a team.
Negotiation & closing: Confidence and skill in managing complex sales negotiations.
Sales success: A strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport.
Product knowledge: Familiarity with Hyundai vehicles, features, and technologies (or ability to quickly learn).
Valid Australian Driver's License.
