About St Teresa's Catholic College

St Teresa's Catholic College, located in Noosaville on the Sunshine Coast, enrolls over 800 students. The college is a vibrant community committed to living out our Catholic faith through the Marist and Teresian charisms. We provide a holistic education grounded in Christian values to our co‐educational students from Years 7–12 and a nurturing environment where students can thrive.

Summary

St Teresa's Catholic College is seeking a dedicated and organised School Library Officer to provide dynamic support across a range of tasks, enhancing and streamlining the library's operations and fostering a thriving learning space.

Location & Details

* Location: St Teresa's College – Noosaville (S)
* Start date: 11 May 2026
* Work hours: 20.25 hours per week
* Salary: $34.17 per hour plus superannuation
* Status: Term time continuing; school holidays are unpaid

About The Opportunity

The School Library Officer will support the effective operation of the secondary library. The role works collaboratively with teaching staff to resource the curriculum, manage library systems and collections, and create a welcoming learning environment that fosters a love of reading and inquiry.

The Successful Applicant Will Have

* Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a commitment to supporting student learning within a vibrant Catholic school community.
* Demonstrated library experience and ongoing commitment to professional development.
* Enthusiastic and approachable personality with high‐level interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with people at all levels.
* Experience with Oliver library software is desirable.
* Proficient computer literacy with proven capacity in MS Office Suite and other software commonly used in libraries and education.

About You

* Strong organisational skills to manage schedules and appointments for teachers or teacher librarians.
* Demonstrated library experience and commitment to professional development.
* Enthusiastic and approachable personality with high‐level interpersonal skills.
* Experience with Oliver library software is desirable.
* Proficiency in software applications for record‐keeping, document drafting and handling sensitive information.
* Effective communication skills to respond to inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
* Experience in developing, maintaining and improving systems and databases.
* Knowledge of filing and records management systems, including registers and databases.
* Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other software common to libraries and education.
* Candidate is not required to be Catholic.

Eligibility and Safeguarding Requirements

* Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
* Hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement.
