About the Opportunity
* Provide a wide range of support to the classroom teacher or teacher librarian, managing availability, schedules, and appointments
* Process and maintain accurate records using software applications, draft, update and format standard documents, and handle sensitive information discreetly under senior direction
* Respond to enquiries, ensuring accurate and timely information, resolve concerns, and record correspondence according to procedures
* Assist in the development, maintenance, and operation of systems and databases and recommend improvements as appropriate
* Help establish and maintain filing and records management systems, including registers and databases
About You
* Strong organisational skills for managing schedules and appointments for teachers or teacher librarians
* Demonstrated library experience and ongoing commitment to professional development
* Enthusiastic and approachable with high‐level interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with all levels
* Experience with Oliver library software is desirable
* Proficiency in software applications for record‐keeping, document drafting, and handling sensitive information
* Effective communication skills to respond to inquiries and resolve issues promptly
* Experience helping to develop, maintain, and improve systems and databases
* Knowledge of filing and records management systems, including registers and databases
* Proficiency in MS Office suite, and other common software for libraries and education
* Not required to be Catholic
Eligibility and Safeguarding Requirements
* Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
* Hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement
