Job Overview
Winslow Infrastructure is involved in building Brisbane's vast infrastructure network and requires a self-starter Safety Advisor with TMR and large project experience to join our team.
This role involves partnering with operational project leads, the wider safety community at Winslow and our client to drive and deliver safety objectives and performance.
* Partner with operational project leads, the wider safety community at Winslow and our client to drive and deliver safety objectives and performance.
* Implementation of safety policies and systems.
* Ensuring compliance with statutory obligations and mitigating risk.
* Conducting safety audits.
* Performance monitoring and data analysis.
* Guidance on subcontractor management.
* Providing continual support and coaching.

Required Skills and Qualifications
Diploma or higher qualification in Occupational Health and Safety. A QSA auditor certificate and/or training & assessment qualifications would be highly advantageous.
Prior safety experience gained within a TMR project environment, preferably civil construction.
Ability to effect change to achieve safety targets over a sustained period with a subcontractor and employee workforce.
Possess knowledge and ability to evaluate and implement safety policies and procedures.
Extensive knowledge of safety, quality and environmental management systems standards.
Strong written and verbal communication skills combined with the ability to influence at various business levels.
Strong computer and data analysis skills that extend to report collation and presentation.
Ability to think strategically, considering both client and local objectives/drivers.
Ability to conduct audits; investigations of safety issues and assist in developing improvement plans based on findings.
Demonstrated ability to develop safety improvement plans to drive and promote safety awareness programs.
Understanding of a safety philosophy and previous experience with establishing and implementing these systems in a project environment.
