Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our workshop staff, you will play a critical role in ensuring the ongoing maintenance and repair of our fleet of vehicles.
Your primary duties will include diagnosing and inspecting vehicles, reconditioning and repairing them to the highest standards, and maintaining all company assets in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
You will also be responsible for attending breakdowns, carrying out field-related mechanical repairs, and effectively communicating any safety or maintenance issues.
In addition to these responsibilities, you will be required to adhere to all work health and safety requirements, report and repair accident damage as needed, and perform ad-hoc tasks as directed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Diagnose and inspect vehicles to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with industry standards.
* Recondition and repair vehicles to the highest standards, using appropriate tools and techniques.
* Maintain all company assets, including vehicles and equipment, in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
* Attend breakdowns and carry out field-related mechanical repairs, using your expertise and knowledge to resolve issues efficiently.
* Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure smooth workflow and address any safety or maintenance concerns.
