CentreStage is seeking a driven, relationship-focused professional to support the continued growth of our talent agency and broader arts organisation.

This is a unique opportunity to work within a respected, community-connected organisation that operates across theatre, film, television, and education, representing emerging and professional talent nationally.

About the Role

We are looking for a Business Development & Growth Manager to lead strategic outreach, partnerships, and revenue opportunities, while also overseeing the onboarding and integration of new talent into the agency.

This role is part-time (approximately 2 days per week), with flexibility in how those hours are structured. It is suited to a self-motivated professional who thrives on building relationships, creating strong systems, and delivering practical outcomes.

You will work closely with the Managing Director and internal team to strengthen industry connections and ensure new talent are professionally onboarded and positioned for success.

Key Responsibilities

* Identify and secure new business opportunities across theatre, film, television, and commercial sectors

* Build and maintain relationships with casting directors, production companies, and industry partners

* Develop and implement growth strategies for the agency

* Manage the onboarding process for new talent, ensuring a professional and supportive experience

* Coordinate collection of materials (headshots, CVs, showreels) and ensure platform readiness (Casting Networks, Showcast, etc.)

* Support talent placement opportunities through proactive outreach

* Strengthen partnerships with training organisations, schools, and community networks

* Assist with branding, positioning, and market expansion initiatives

* Track and report on growth outcomes and onboarding success

About You

You are a proactive, organised, and outcomes-focused professional who understands both relationship-building and the operational requirements of a talent agency.

Essential:

* Proven experience in the arts/theatre industry or a strong working understanding of the television and film industry

* Demonstrated experience in business development, partnerships, or growth-focused roles

Highly regarded:

* Experience working within or alongside a talent agency, casting environment, or production company

* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage onboarding processes and multiple stakeholders

* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

* Confidence working independently and driving your own pipeline

* You bring a practical, solutions-focused mindset and align with inclusive, community-driven values.
