As a legal counsel in employment relations, you will partner with business units and HR partners to provide specialist advice on employment laws, regulations, and procedures. You will work closely with operational and corporate office leaders to manage cases from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide expert advice on employment laws, industrial instruments, and workplace policies.
","
* Support employees and management in resolving disputes and grievances through internal investigations or early resolution meetings.
","
* Draft and advise on employment contracts, including disciplinary processes and terminations.
","
* Participate in conciliations, mediations, and hearings related to unfair dismissal and discrimination complaints.
","
* Assist in the development of IR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation changes.
","
* Prepare reports and communicate complex information to leaders in non-technical terms.
","
Requirements:
","
* Degree qualification in employment law or a related field.
","
* Experience working in a commercial environment, preferably in the hospitality and entertainment sectors.
","
* Strong knowledge of Australian Employment Law, Fair Work Act, and ER procedures and processes.

* Excellent problem-solving skills, time management abilities, and effective communication skills.
