About You
You will have experience running a kitchen within an Aged Care Facility which will ensure you feel comfortable stepping in to manage all facets of Food Services. You will have the ability to lead the day-to-day production with the assistance of kitchen hands and accept responsibility for the smooth running of the kitchen.

The Role
* Prepare and cook meals, ensuring that food is prepared safely and hygienically, and that it meets quality standards.
* Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation, and inspect food supplies to ensure freshness and suitability for consumption.
* Supervise kitchen staff and ensure that they follow food safety protocols and hygiene standards.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and other relevant legislation governing food service in Aged Care Facilities.

Requirements
* Minimum of 6 months paid experience
* Minimum of Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or Cert IV in Commercial cookery/ Diploma in hospitality)
* Food Safety and Handling Certificate
* Valid National Police Check
* Fully COVID-19 vaccinated (in line with state requirements)
* Valid driver's licence, reliable vehicle, and mobile phone
* Open to the idea of also working as a roving chef
