Home Care Professional Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated Home Care Employee to provide exceptional support and care services to our clients in Toowoomba.
This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about creating an inclusive environment that values safety, respect, and diverse voices. Our team requires part-time employees who are qualified as a Home Care Employee with a Certificate III in Individual Support.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Personal Care: Assist with daily tasks such as grooming, bathing, dressing, and hygiene to ensure clients' comfort, dignity, and well-being.
* Household Assistance: Support clients with cleaning, meal preparation, and general household tasks to maintain a safe and tidy living environment.
* Transportation: Drive clients to medical appointments, shopping, and social activities, ensuring they can access essential services and maintain their independence.
* Social Engagement: Foster social interaction and provide companionship, offering emotional support to improve clients' quality of life and overall well-being.
To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and qualifications:
* Essential Skills: Effective communication, empathy, ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team, access to a fully maintained and insured vehicle, strong planning and organizational skills, competency with smartphones/tablets or willingness to learn, physical fitness for manual handling and extended periods of standing/sitting.
* Qualifications: Qualified Home Care Employee: Certificate III in Individual Support (essential), Current First Aid Certificate and CPR or willingness to obtain, Current unrestricted Australian Driver's License.
