Our Client has commenced a customer-led strategy to transition from an organisation focused to a commercial entity in the future digital landscape, where customer experience and commercial success are a priority.
As part of the People and Culture ("P&C") team, this role must continue to align with the strategic agendas and objectives of the business. This role will ensure the operating model, talent and capability meet and anticipate future business (and industry) needs. Learning and development play an important role on this journey to identify, prioritise and develop the critical capabilities that are essential for our client to continue to support objectives and future direction.
**The Role**:
As a Learning and Capability Manager you will ensure that our client has the right workforce capabilities in place to continue to operate effectively through its transition.
In consultation with other Senior Business Leaders, you will assess the critical workforce capability uplift required deliver these in order to develop and implement purposeful capability plans, aligned to Enterprise goals. Critical to success in this role will be your ability to deliver impactful, leader-led development and learner accountability, underpinned by a strong digital learning focus. The delivery of best in class learning solutions to meet targeted business needs will also be required.
**Responsibilities may include but are not limited to**:
- Contribute to learning governance, standards, and templates for Learning Design
- Review and ensure quality of learning solutions pre-launch
- Lead People Strategy and Culture related design decisions and delivery channels
- Stay updated on L&D trends and their relevance
- Partner with stakeholders and COEs across the organisation
- Manage program scope, ensuring on-time delivery and budget control
- Make autonomous decisions amidst ambiguity
- Monitor and update financial budgets regularly
**About You**:
As an effective Manager of Learning and Capability, you will effectively manage multiple stakeholders and their conflicting priorities with your influencing skills and make data driven decisions that challenge the status quo. You will be proactive in your advice and recommendations, helping to align the wider team on solutions and the way forward.
- Qualification in HR, Business, organisational design, or Adult Learning
- Experience in learning design, adult learning principles, blended learning approaches and human centred design methodologies or related fields in a fast-paced organisation
- Superior skills in consulting and stakeholder management at mid to senior org levels
