Job Description
We're looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Bundaberg taxation team. This is an opportunity to work on diverse and complex tax matters, contribute insights that guide sound financial decisions, and play a meaningful role in both our clients' and our team's development.
You will:
* Prepare and review financial statements for companies, partnerships, trusts, and high-net-worth individuals.
* Work directly with clients to gather information, explain outcomes, and help them build financial clarity.
* Support advisory work under the guidance of managers and partners, using your technical strengths to inform next steps.
* Guide junior accountants by reviewing work, answering questions, and sharing your knowledge.
Desired Skills and Experience
You have:
* 5+ years of experience in Public Practice and/or Business Services.
* A recognised accounting degree, with postgraduate qualifications (or progress towards them) preferred.
* Strong knowledge of Australian tax legislation and accounting requirements across a range of entities and client types.
* Proficiency with MYOB AE, MYOB Account Right, Xero and System Release programs.
* Strong communication skills.
