As our Donations Sorter, you will play a vital role in ensuring donated goods are processed efficiently, accurately, and in line with our policies and procedures.
Drawing on your retail experience, you will assess incoming donations, identify quality items, recognise brands, and determine fair market value to help us maximise the impact of every contribution.
This is a 6-month fixed-term, part-time position (30 hours per week), based in Arundel .
The standard roster runs Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 3:00pm, offering a consistent daytime schedule.
About You To be successful in this position, you will need to meet the following selection criteria: Demonstrated experience in general warehousing and knowledge of stock rotation principles Willingness to sort incoming donations and ability to be decisive in your approach Knowledge of fashion brands and other high-end products desirable Demonstrate excellent time management skills Demonstrate genuine respect for all people regardless of their situation Commitment to promoting and creating a safe workplace, ensuring all policies, procedures and legislative requirements are adhered to Understanding of and commitment to the philosophy of the St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland and ability to work in accordance with policies and procedures to promote the values and mission of the Society Ready to apply?
