Another Kind hospitality group (Leigh Street Wine Room, Press* Food and Wine, Peel Street Restaurant) is looking for an enthusiastic senior chef to join our team and deliver a consistent and exceptional dining experience. Another Kind is a contemporary South Australian hospitality group encompassing bars, restaurants, and retail. Responsibilities include:
1. Assisting in the presentation of dishes and communicating effectively between the head chef and sous chef.
2. Producing high-quality plates with attention to design and taste.
3. Participating in menu planning, inventory management, and supply oversight.
4. Ensuring food quality and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment.
5. Keeping work stations clean and adhering to food safety standards.
6. Providing suggestions and creative ideas to improve kitchen performance.
7. Supporting the head chef with daily kitchen operations, utilizing your skills and experience.
8. Being fully available, including weekends, public holidays, and both opening and closing shifts.
Qualifications required:
* Qualification in commercial cookery or equivalent.
* At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
