Are you passionate about conservation management and looking to make a positive impact against climate change? With growth on the agenda, we now have an opportunity for multiple skilled Field Staff to join the LCS Environmental crew and get involved in a combination of environmental maintenance activities across various project sites.
The Role:
Undertake habitat revegetation, biodiversity & bushcare projects, weed control, hydroseeding & native seeding, and bushfire mitigation & prevention activities.
Use correct work methods and always adhere to best natural resource management practices.
Engage with staff, clients and members of the public in a professional and courteous manner.
Adhere to all work health and safety guidelines and best practices including incident reporting.
About You:
Previous experience in environmental or natural resource management.
Knowledge in plant identification of South Australian plants and weeds.
Diploma in Conservation and Land Management and/or Certificate II in Horticulture or equivalent.
Demonstrated skills in operating small machinery such as brushcutters, chainsaws and drills.
Positive attitude and work ethic.
Attention to detail and a track record of producing quality work.
Current White Card, Police and DHS clearances are required or willing to obtain.
