Role Overview
This leadership position involves developing and implementing high-quality teaching programs that align with student learning data and respond to individual needs. You will work closely with colleagues to create a positive school culture, leveraging your expertise to drive continuous improvement in teaching and learning.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and lead innovative teaching programs that enhance student outcomes and address learning gaps
* Foster collective teacher efficacy by leading faculty discussions and facilitating collaborative planning
* Develop and execute curriculum reforms for the PDHPE framework, utilizing evidence-based approaches
* Guide staff in creating inclusive strategies to support diverse learners, ensuring equitable access to education
Requirements
* Prior experience as a senior educator or leader, with a proven track record of driving educational improvement
* Strong knowledge of curriculum design, assessment methods, and student welfare policies
* Educational leadership skills to build capacity and manage performance across teams
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders and promote collaboration
* Ability to allocate resources efficiently to support teaching and learning initiatives
* Knowledge of and commitment to promoting Aboriginal education
