Your new role
As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the day-to-day operations of High Voltage (HV) manufacturing equipment and processes. Reporting to the Reliability Engineering Manager, you will be the first point of contact for production-related electrical issues, ensuring systems run efficiently and safely.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Providing technical support for HV manufacturing equipment and processes.
* Conducting root cause analysis of electrical failures and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
* Assisting in the design, development, and qualification of HV electrical test systems and equipment.
* Performing maintenance and calibration of test systems.
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements.
* Supporting the installation and commissioning of new machinery.
* Ensuring compliance with electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
* Maintaining accurate documentation for electrical designs and maintenance activities.
What you'll need to succeed
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
* 2-3 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
* Strong understanding of electrical schematics and Australian electrical standards.
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.

Desirable experience includes:
* PLC operation and programming.
* Proficiency in CAD and electrical design tools.
* Knowledge of LabVIEW and/or Python.
* Experience with lean manufacturing principles.
