About The Role
Due to continued growth across our contracts and projects, we have an exciting permanent opportunity for an experienced Boilermaker to join our skilled workshop team in Withcott.
Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will play a key role in the maintenance, fabrication and repair of drilling and well servicing equipment, while also supporting a range of broader Ventia contracts. This is a hands-on role offering stable work and exposure to diverse projects.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Inspecting and repairing equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation
Completing fabrication and remedial welding to trade standards and qualifications
Performing equipment repairs in line with legislative, manufacturer and quality requirements
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and manufacturing to tolerance
Completing daily tradesperson reports, timesheets, repair requests and non-conformance reports
Upholding high standards of workplace health, safety and quality assurance

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Certificate III in Engineering – Metal Fabrication (or equivalent)
Minimum 1 years' post-trade experience as a Boilermaker/Welder
Experience working on mobile plant or fabrication projects
Strong knowledge of industry legislation, compliance requirements and WHS
Proven ability to read engineering drawings and fabricate to specification
A commitment to quality assurance standards
A current C Class (car) driver's licence
High Risk Fork Lift licence
