The Opportunity Lead the team that powers The College’s digital learning experience and drive innovation across our entire online learning ecosystem.
We’re looking for an experienced digital learning leader to oversee the design, build and continual enhancement of our online learning environments. Working within the Product Directorate, you’ll partner with academic and operational teams to ensure our platforms and products align with College strategy and deliver outstanding learning outcomes.
As the Manager, Online Learning Environment, you will:Lead and develop a team of Online Learning Environment Designers to deliver high‑quality learning contentManage the build, administration and maintenance of diverse LMS environments and associated platformsIntegrate digital learning objects, multimedia and emerging technologies while ensuring quality and technical complianceFoster a culture of innovation, agility and continuous improvement within the teamProvide expert guidance on LMS processes, learning technologies and best‑practice design approachesChampion system enhancements that uplift the student experienceIdentify, test and evaluate new tools and manage relationships with external vendorsCollaborate across The College to support strategic planning and deliver seamless digital learning experiences
This is a full-time 35 hours per week, ongoing position.

Who We’re Looking For:You are an experienced and innovative digital learning professional who brings:Postgraduate qualifications (or equivalent experience) in online learning, educational technology or digital product managementStrong technical expertise with enterprise Learning Management Systems and content management tools (e.g., Blackboard, Canvas, SharePoint, Articulate, H5P, Adobe and Microsoft platforms)Confidence in adopting and implementing new technologies, with the ability to solve problems and deliver improvements within established timelinesExcellent relationship‑building and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholdersProven leadership capability, with a talent for motivating high‑performing, agile teamsThe ability to interpret learning design requirements and translate them into effective, high‑quality digital learning buildsExceptional attention to detail, with a track record of identifying issues early and delivering practical, high‑quality solutions

LocationThis is a full-time ongoing position based at Parramatta City Campus (1PSQ), although travel to other campuses of the University may be required. This position is not available in a fully remote format.
Remuneration Package: Professional Staff Level 9 $143,392 p.a. (comprising Salary of $126,140 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading) in accordance with the College Enterprise Agreement.
