The Opportunity
SEE Group have a great career opportunity available for a HV Service Technician to join our highly professional and skilled Fleet Maintenance team. This is a diverse and fast-paced role, full-time opportunity based predominantly in Orange, NSW at a major mining project. You’ll work closely with teams across Fleet and Civil Operations to ensure the smooth operation of Heavy Vehicles and Machinery.
Responsibilities
- Responsible and accountable to perform preventative maintenance in a field setting to quality standards in line with the OEM specifications, budget and schedule as well as the relevant legislation and standards to ensure the effective utilisation of company-owned plant, equipment and light vehicles.
- Perform any minor repairs as required.
- Ensure lockout / tag-out systems are used in accordance with legislative requirements and company policy.
- Responsible to follow the correct environmental procedures and site rules and undertake a high level of care when carrying out work.
Essential Skills and Attributes
- Background in Heavy Plant, Mechanical and Electrical processes.
- Clear understanding of excellence in customer service.
- Proven planning ability.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple tasks and maintaining focus on priorities.
