Casual Maintenance Person – Food Manufacturing (1–2 Days Per Week)

We are a well-established Australian food manufacturer with a proud reputation for quality, safety and reliability. Our small, friendly site in Orange, NSW is seeking an experienced Maintenance Person to join us on a casual basis (approximately 1–2 days per week, with flexibility).
This role is perfect for someone who is retired or semi-retired and wants to stay active, keep their trade skills sharp, and contribute to a supportive team.
About the Role
You will be responsible for providing maintenance support across the site to ensure production equipment, facilities and utilities operate safely and efficiently. Key responsibilities include:
* Conducting preventative maintenance and basic repairs
* Troubleshooting minor mechanical or electrical issues
* General facility and building maintenance
* Responding to ad-hoc maintenance requests from the site team
* Completing all work safely and in line with food manufacturing standards
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
* Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing, food production or similar environment
* Strong hands-on trade or mechanical skills (qualification helpful but not essential)
* A practical, reliable and safety-focused approach
* The ability to work independently and manage workload
* Flexibility to work 1–2 days per week (days can be agreed with the Site Manager)
