Central Sterilising Service Technician Role
We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Central Sterilising Service Technician. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the highest standards of sterilisation and infection control.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Thermal disinfection inspection, packaging, and sterilising of instrumentation for theatres and other clinical areas
• Compliance with AS/NZ standards AS5369
• Operation, interpretation, and documentation of machinery operational requirements
• Reporting and documenting all quality activities
• Ensuring priority of instrumentation and processes

To be successful in this role, you will need:
• Demonstrated knowledge of instrumentation
• Sound knowledge of AS/NZ standards AS5369
• Experience with tracking systems
• Endoscopy reprocessing experience or willingness to learn
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
• Intermediate computer literacy skills - including MS office and various data bases
