Job Summary:
* This role is designed for a dedicated and empathetic individual who can provide support to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
About the Role:
* You will work closely with teachers and other professionals to implement strategies that promote positive behaviour and wellbeing.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEMH needs.
* Implement strategies and interventions to support the social and emotional development of students.
* Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external agencies to address specific needs.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Monitor and assess the progress of students, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of behaviour support plans.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Proven experience in a similar Teaching Assistant role is advantageous.
* Empathy and a genuine passion for supporting students with SEMH needs.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, students, and parents.
* A willingness to learn knowledge of relevant SEMH strategies and interventions.
