About the Role
As our Residential Life Manager, you will lead wellbeing initiatives, mentor Residential Advisors, and bring our community to life through meaningful programs and events at the UniLodge @ UC portfolio. You will create a welcoming, inclusive environment where residents feel connected and cared for.
Responsibilities
* Plan, run, and improve programs and events that support student wellbeing, engagement, and success.
* Recruit, train, and support Resident Advisors (RAs), helping them build strong relationships and maintain community standards.
* Look after residents' wellbeing by providing guidance, making referrals, and working with university and local support services.
* Create a welcoming and inclusive community where residents feel safe, respected, and connected.
* Work closely with university teams, contractors, and internal staff to ensure smooth operations and excellent community experiences.
About You
We are seeking a people‐first leader who thrives in a dynamic, community‐focused environment. With strong emotional intelligence and communication skills, you're passionate about supporting student wellbeing and creating a positive resident experience.
* Proven experience leading and developing teams, with the ability to motivate and inspire.
* Demonstrated experience in a similar role, with a solid understanding of wellbeing, empathy, and mental health.
* Strong organisational and time‐management skills, managing competing priorities across busy periods such as O‐Week, exams, and intakes.
* Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
* National Police Check + WWVP card.
