At Belgravia Leisure, we're looking for an experienced lifeguard to join our team. As a lifeguard, you'll be responsible for ensuring the safety of our patrons in and around our pools. This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a passion for water safety.
Job Description
We are currently seeking a qualified and enthusiastic lifeguard to join our team on a casual basis. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that all areas of the pool facility are safe and enjoyable for all patrons.
The role involves working mornings, evenings, and weekends, as well as school holidays. You'll need to have outstanding communication skills and a commitment to customer service excellence to ensure our patrons safely enjoy their visit every time.
You should be energetic, dynamic, outgoing, and fun, with a passion for safety around the water. You'll need to demonstrate the ability to communicate and interact effectively with students that have a diverse range of ages, abilities, cultures, and needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* An understanding of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and public safety applications within your facility
* Ability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as a strong and valuable part of the team
* Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate
* National Police Check
* Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate

Working at Bluewater Lagoon
Bluewater Lagoon is a popular aquatic facility located in Mackay, featuring three interconnected lagoon pools, a waterslide, shaded areas, and dedicated family spaces. Our venue provides a safe and enjoyable environment for visitors of all ages, with stunning views and convenient amenities.
As part of your roster, you may be required to work across all three pools, including Mackay Regional Aquatic Centre (MARC) and Pioneer Swimming Pool.
