Project Manager Position
We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to oversee the delivery of a luxury apartment tower as part of a larger development from ground up. This is a long-term project that requires exceptional leadership skills, program management expertise, and a strong commitment to health, safety, quality, and environmental management.
The ideal candidate will have a stable track record of delivering similar sized projects for commercial construction builders in an upper management role (minimum of 5 years). They must also have experience delivering projects with budgets north of $50m, working for a head contractor in Australia, and possessing a trade or tertiary qualification in construction.
A key aspect of this role is stakeholder and resource management. The successful candidate will ensure relevant labour is on site to deliver key project objectives and maintain quality throughout. They will also be responsible for monitoring project progress and providing regular updates to senior management.
The successful candidate will have strong software skills in programs such as Procore, Jobpac, and MS suites. They will also possess experience developing talent and managing large teams in a major project environment (in commercial construction). Compliance with legislative and policy requirements is essential.
