Silverstrand is seeking a Project Manager to become a key part in shaping the future of our business alongside an experienced team.
You will be based in SEQ predominately and required to travel 4 days every 3rd week to oversee a FIFO project during the SPE's off swing.
Experienced with FRP + Renewable Energy projects required.
About the Role:
- Working on Civil, Structures & Renewable
- Delegating and mentoring engineers
- Working closely with the Site Supervisor in the organization of labour, plant, machinery, equipment and materials to meet the program
- Creating & implementing the construction program
- Working with the client to resolve technical, commercial and scheduling issues
- Reviewing and approving subcontract and supplier invoices and monthly claims
- Ability to manage project expenditure and cash flow
- Ensuring projects are managed on budget, completed on time and delivered to a high quality
- Experience with project programming, cost and quality control, procurement and supplier engagement
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar is desirable - alternatively, extensive Project Management experience in the civil industry will be considered
- Minimum 7 years experience on civil infrastructure projects
- Knowledge of structures & drainage
- Delivering self-perform works
- Ability to read drawings and interpret plans
- Programming & Cost Control
- Excellent safety record from previous projects
