Trunk Mains Tradesperson (Central region)
As the Trunk Mains Tradesperson you will participate in the effective planning, scheduling, coordination, and execution of the Seqwater Trunk Main Inspection program while delivering the operational requirements for the network operations team in the field. You will provide services in relation to the operation, maintenance, refurbishment, and augmentation of assets, providing technical advice and support to the Trunk Main Supervisor, operational teams, contractors, and team members.
Key responsibilities
* Deliver the construction, repair, and maintenance of trunk mains, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with specifications.
* Assist in the development and implementation of Standard Maintenance Procedures (e.g. job plans) for site related activities and participate in system audit activities. Complete all administrative tasks associated with the role, particularly the completion and collection of work orders and inspection requirements.
* Ensure all Trunk Mains Asset Data is comprehensively and accurately recorded on the Trunk Mains Inspection Forms/spreadsheets, including photos for handover to the asset systems and information governance team to facilitate efficient and complete upload to Seqwater's CMMS/GIS.
* Respond to unplanned/responsive maintenance issues, incidents, or emergency issues and diagnose the nature and scope of potential plant faults/issues and identify the resource requirements for rectification.
* Respond to emergency requests, as per rostered arrangements, outside of normal hours (on call).
About you
* Trade qualification as a Certificate 3 trained mechanical fitter, fitter and turner, or equivalent trade.
* Possess a current "C" class driver's licence.

This position has a competitive salary range, plus 12.75% superannuation and is full‐time, permanent.
