**About our Opportunity**
As the Site Service Supervisor within our Stegbar Lansvale branch, you will support, influence, and motivate the service technicians in the field and be accountable for the day-to-day supervision of service activities to ensure scheduled work is completed, and ensuring improvement across the board.
This is a true people role, you will need to be skilled in managing customer escalations and troubleshooting solutions with respect to site service issues to improve the customer experience and to meet the requirements of the customer. You will also drive continuous process improvements to improve service performance, and continual development and improvement of our safety culture; we live and breathe safety!
Key responsibilities include:
- Accountable for the day-to-day supervision of service activities
- Lead and develop a team of Service Technicians and contractors
- Monitor DiFOT levels with a focus on continuous improvement
- Resolve escalated issues in a timely fashion
- Conduct toolbox talks and team meetings
**About you**
We're looking to leverage your experience within the construction industry, along with your communication, organisation and leadership skills. Ideally you will have managed a team who interact with customers face to face, or have aspirations of leading a team, combined with a desire to develop leadership skills. You need to be approachable and have an open and transparent communication style whilst you balance competing priorities and demands in a high functioning environment. Your agile approach and ability to be pragmatic in providing quality customer service is a must, along with capability of lateral thinking when resolving problems that arise.
You will have:
- Windows and/or doors experience or construction
- parts interpretation for windows and doors,(desirable)
- White Card
- Joinery Trade Certificate (desirable but not essential)
- Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel
- ability to work between core business hours of 7.30am - 4:00pm
